"Questing" and Hero Creation in The Sims Medieval

I was a little disappointed to learn that The Sims Medieval is essentially The Sims gone... medieval.

I guess I should have suspected that, but trailers like this don't help. It makes you think it's got a little RPG or action in the game. From what I saw at Gamescom, it really doesn't.

Sims 3 was a dumb purchase for me.

I loved the first Sims, but was overwhelmed by the amount of stuff

there was to do in the Sims 3 and had trouble seeing the point in

it.

My Sim was leveling up... woo...

I don't know.

I guess it's not something I have an interest in anymore, even if I

do have some nostalgia for the original.
