Over the weekend, Nintendo released Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver.
The games were packaged with pedomters call Poké Walker. Sales were brisk in Tokyo’s Akihabara, and the game sold out at area retailers Yodobashi Camera, Sofmap and Messe Sanoh.
This weekend’s release was much akin to the Fire Red and Leaf Green Gameboy Advance remakes of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green.
The original Gold and Silver sold 23 million copies worldwide. Expect big numbers when the official Heart Gold/Soul Silver numbers are released.
