Starting on Oct. 4th, the day after the release of the new Smash Bros. 3DS in the US, 64 entrants at 16 different locations will square off for a chance to win a trip to New York and compete for the championship.
Some folks have started organizing their own unofficial tournaments, but this will be the first big one that Nintendo's organized since E3. If you're looking to compete, check the listings below to see if you've got a tournament location near you. Good luck!
