Paradox Interactive has announced today that Crusader Kings III will be released on September 1, 2020. A new story trailer for the game was also released today. The highly anticipated game is the follow up to Crusader Kings II, released in 2012.

I love Paradox games but buying them at launch is always such a weird feeling. They usually feel fine at launch(Except Imperator, which was a mess until recently) but you’re basically resigning yourself to a dozen or so DLC packs to get the eventual full experience. It gets expensive fast.
