If you play a lot of Overwatch, you’ve probably seen someone get POTG for Hulking out with their ult, stomping tons of enemies, and then getting smashed themselves. Dying twice in a single POTG, though? That’s an accomplishment!

As Symmetra, navigatingboats began their moment of glory... dead. Upon respawning, they hurried through their teleporter, right back to the point. Seconds later, McCree and Reaper converged upon them, and that was all she wrote.

For some reason, everybody always seems to think somebody else is gonna scrub the walls clean of Symmetra’s turrets, leading to slow, avoidable death by a swarm of irritating laser gnats. Between that and some clean up when navigatingboats got back into action, they picked up a nice little collection of kills. Thus, POTG. It ain’t glamorous, but then war rarely is. Especially when teleporters are involved.

I love playing Symmetra against people who underestimate her. Her primary attack fucking MELTS anyone and everyone when it’s fully charged. I’ve gotten a quad kill once with that sucker.

I am very excited to see what they’ve got planned for her. Hopefully something that would let her be more efficient on attack. Maybe both primary and secondary fire shouldn’t be variations of charge-up attacks. Having a slow and powerful defensive attack and a quick and usable-on-the-move offensive attack would probably be a good start. The turrets are neat and key to her kit, but they’re quite useless on offense most of the time. I don’t know if it’s something they’d ever considering doing, but maybe her skills could work differently on offense and defense.
