Update 3/2/2017: Nintendo has released the day-one software update that lets us get online. I’ve added a section covering the finalized operating system and adjusted the “what we don’t know” section accordingly.

Update 3/3/2017: I’ve added new information about linking your Nintendo Account to the Switch, managing your saved games, and transferring digital purchases, as well as Nintendo’s acknowledgement of the Joy-Con wireless issue.

Update 3/6/2017: I’ve fleshed out the section about launch games now that I’ve played a few of them and made minor edits throughout to more consistently reflect what we now know about the system.
