Hino added that despite an interview he gave at E3 suggesting that Ni no Kuni II would have some sort of multiplayer, it is in fact a single-player-only game.

As someone who cannot wait for Ni no Kuni II, I am totally fine with this news for several reasons: 1) delays usually make games better; 2) this fall was pretty damn crowded already; and 3) this gives them more time to release a PS4 port of the first Ni no Kuni. I mean, come on already.
