New Spider-Man Game Makes a Surprise Appearance at New York Comic-Con

We're not talking gameplay or even footage, simply this poster discovered inside Activision's sizable New York Comic-Con booth.

The Amazing Spider-Man appears to be in development by Beenox, the folks who made the mediocre Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and bad Spider-Man: Edge of Time games. That's their logo right there at the bottom.

Maybe the third time will be the charm?

Judging by both the title and poster image, I assume this game will be based on the upcoming movie.

Movie tie-in games are forever cursed to suck. The game for Transformers: Dark of the Moon was made by the people who made War for Cybertron, but it sucked. Something, somewhere always goes wrong.
