PETA2 teaches children about the plight of circus-bound elephants with a pair of new flash games, giving the world's largest land mammals a chance to strike back against the clowns, trainers, and circus CEOs that are keeping them down.
PETA2 is the kid's branch of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, so don't expect the blood and gore of previous PETA flash games showing up there. It's just good clean vengeance in Elephant's Revenge, which puts the player into the pillar-like feet of an elephant shooting peanuts at an advance army of prod-wielding circus employees.
The second game, aptly titled Match It!, is a memory match game with music composed by Video Games Live front man Tommy Tallarico, one of gaming's smaller land mammals.
"Considering how they attack elephants with bullhooks and electric prods, circus trainers would be lucky to get off with a mere peanut pelting," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "Life in chains is no life at all, and the kindest thing that parents and kids can do is to steer clear of circuses that use animals."
