Today, Sony released a new patch for Horizon: Zero Dawn that makes a bunch of improvements including quest fixes, X-axis inversion, and, most pivotally, a fix for “game running into issues when playtime exceeds 200 hours.”

I don’t know what those issues are, exactly—Sony hasn’t responded to my request for comment—but I do know that, because Horizon: Zero Dawn came out 21 days ago, you’d have to play an average of nine and a half hours every day to hit 200 hours. So if you have run into this problem, I am extremely impressed.

The full (kinda spoilery) patch notes are on Reddit, and here’s the spoiler-free version:

I completed the game today, started a few days after release. I have to say that I never encountered a single bug whilst playing - certainly nothing noticeable anyway. I am glad that they added a multi-buy option though as it was pretty annoying having to press and hold a button 100 times every time I wanted to stock up on Blaze or wiring.
