New Bowler Stereotypes For High Velocity Bowling

Sony keeps things classy with two new stereotyped characters High Velocity Bowling - a Hispanic girl with a chip on her shoulder and a male flight attendant with "fabulous ball control".

The second highest downloaded PlayStation Network game of 2008 grows a new pair today, with the introduction of two new bowlers, available for $.99 each via the PlayStation Store. Team RamRod once again pulls no punches in describing the new bowlers.

Bruce is a flamboyant flight attendant from New York, New York who happens to be fantastic in the lane. He's definitely earned the nickname ‘Flyboy' and has proven to have fabulous ball control. Though, his downfall is that he cares more about his precious manicure than pin action … so it's nothing but light balls for him.

That's Bruce 'Flyboy' Fitzpatrick, whose very name is the punchline to a gay joke. Joining Bruce is Carmen ‘Sordida' Sanchez, the Hispanic girl with an attitude and something to prove.

Carmen is from San Ysidro, California, and with a chip on her shoulder, she has much to prove. She'll do anything to win even if it requires dirty tactics. Carmen refuses to wear bowling shoes and as a result, her form leaves a lot to be desired.

I know they might seem offensive, but I wouldn't worry about it. It's okay to offend people if you offend them all equally.
