Nemesis, set in a universe that’s basically Alien without the license, is a very good and popular board game about escaping a bug-infested ship while also fucking over your friends. It’s now also becoming a video game.

Oooh...Nemesis is an amazing board game, with a tendency to play out in gloriously theatrical ways, and for a 30 second mini trailer, that already looks like they’re on the right track to capturing it. Count me in!

...I have to complain about about it being about fucking over your friends though. That’s only half of it. The other half of it is being terrified of being fucked over by your friends, even when it turns out they’re actually on your side and you would have had a much more successful run if you’d trusted each other, only you couldn’t, because you know what game you’re playing, and then you decide you can trust each other and come together just a little too late, so someone can be revealed to be loyal only to get murdered in the shower and another to make it right to the escape pods only to be ambushed and torn to shreds seconds from their goal and..

What I’m saying is you should play it.  And that any good video game interpretation of it could be awesome.
