Hong Kong-based collectible company Hot Toys makes some gorgeous action figures, but none have impressed me as much as the recently-revealed sneaking suit Naked Snake and The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and it's not just the gruesome chest scars.
Okay, it's mainly the gruesome chest scars, but also the skin texture, facial expressions, and the way these two figures come together to create a scene right out of the game, only much, much better. They've brought the characters to life in a way that no mere video game graphics could.
I want these so badly I can smell the packages opening, that glorious new figure smell. I will savor that smell before locking the deadly 1/6 scale couple in eternal battle on my shelf, whenever Hot Toys gets around to taking my money.
