Over the weekend, people found out that Mortal Kombat II - one of the PS3's only decent old-timey titles - had gone missing from the PlayStation Store. Cue scratched heads and pointed fingers. Today, we hear that it's all just a misunderstanding, as Sony say their latest firmware update created a problem or two with the game, which is why it had to be taken down. It will be back, however, the company promising that they're "working diligently to get this back up on the PlayStation Store". What they can't say (or won't say) is how long until it'll be back, or just what those issues were, or what those issues mean to people who already own the game.
