Say hello to Deathwing the Destroyer, the dragon whose escape from the plane of earth causes devastating changes to the world of Azeroth. It's just one of hundreds of screens in MMO Champion's massive World of Warcraft: Cataclysm alpha update.
MMO Champion has access to the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm alpha client, and they've posted a staggering amount of screens and new info showing off the reborn World of Warcraft. In the wake of Deathwing's escape, the old world has changed, from Ashenvale to the Twilight Highlands. MMO Champion has already posted at least twenty-five screens from seven different new zones, including the Alliance stronghold of Stormwind and the Orc home of Ogrimmar, seen below.
Massive changes indeed. I'm not going through the entire gallery myself, as I'd like to be surprised the first time my Worgen rogue struts his stuff, but those unfettered by such reservations will find themselves with a smorgasbord of sexy screenshots.
And it's not just screens, either. They've also got NPC models, the new world maps, and information on some of the new crafting recipes, like this one:
Enchant Weapon - Heartsong - Permanently enchant a weapon to sometimes increase haste rating by 350 for 15 sec when casting spells or striking in melee.
or this:
Enchant Weapon - Mending - Permanently enchant a weapon to sometimes heal you when striking an enemy.
