Following up on a story from this morning, Capcom has released a list of classic games coming "soon" to the PlayStation Network, with just about every major Capcom property represented.
It's a much smaller list than the one we got at the end of 2008, but it's a fine collection of Capcom Classics nonetheless. The list is comprised of ten different games, seven of which are UMD legacy titles, perfect for downloading and playing on the forthcoming PSPgo. Ryan at Capcom spreads the love.
To help rekindle your burning flame of Capcom love, we have plans to release some serious classics for the PS3 and PSP. These are games that I fell for when I was just an impressionable youth. I would sit outside the window at these games' houses, and serenade them with love songs. Finally, they have returned to me, thus proving that they love me too.
The three PlayStation games are just as we suspected - Dino Crisis, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The seven UMD Legacy titles feature hits like Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Mega Man Powered Up, Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, and the Powerstone Collection.
