Capcom's Monster Hunter does monster business in Japan. Back in March, we reported that the PSP budget version Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G the Best shipped 3 million copies. Now, it's July.


Known as Monster Hunter Freedom Unite in the West, the game has shipped over 3.5 million copies, making it the first PSP title to hit that mark. The title originally went on sale in October 2008.

Good for Capcom and Sony...

kind of sucks the console versions don't do anywhere close to this. I wonder when consoles will get popular in Japan again.
