To celebrate today's release of Modern Warfare 2's new Stimulus map pack, publisher Activision delivered copies of the game to more than 300 U.S. Navy ships, submarines and recreational facilities around the world.

In this video we see crew members of the U.S.S. John C Stennis getting their free copies of the game in San Diego. The games were handed off to sailors by actor Rob Corddry and Rear Adm. Ronne Froman.

The giveaway was part of an event to raise awareness for CODE. The Call of Duty Endowment is a non-profit, public benefit corporation that seeks to help soldiers transition to civilian careers after their military service. The endowment focuses its resources on assisting organizations that provide job placement and training to veterans, as well as engaging the media and public forums to raise awareness about the issue.

"Not only is it important to raise awareness of the issue of veterans' unemployment, it is also really cool to bring a game to service members and let them have some fun after spending so much time serving their country," said Rob Corddry. "They really deserve it and I am so glad that I can be a part of it."
