In an interview with Saudi television, Microsoft Saudi Arabia marketing guy Syed Bilal Tariq has given a release date for Microsoft's motion controller, Project Natal.
That's right, Microsoft Saudi Arabia.
"I do have great news to share with everybody that Project Natal will be launched in Saudi Arabia and in the world that is going to be somewhere in October," the exec said. Continuing, he added that a concrete date would be confirmed after June's E3 gaming expo in Los Angeles.
Once again, this is Microsoft Saudi Arabia — a marketing guy at Microsoft Saudi Arabia. This isn't somebody from Microsoft headquarters. But still it is a Microsoft employee!
And the October release date confirms what Fable III voice actor and British broadcasting personality Jonathan Ross tweeted in February: "Natal on X Box impressive. Not quite there yet i think but tye have til october and if they get it right...skys the limit."

Update: "As we confirmed earlier this year, Project Natal will launch this Holiday. We have no further details to share at this time," a Microsoft spokesperson tells Kotaku. "Syed Bilal Tariq is not a MSFT employee. He is a vendor employed through a third-party company on behalf of the Microsoft subsidiary in Saudi Arabia."
