You may be tempted, now that Durango rumors are flying hot and heavy, to ask Microsoft's customer support representatives about the next Xbox.

One Kotaku reader tried that approach today. He even brought up the memo that was reportedly sent to Xbox employees earlier this week.

It didn't work.

Microsoft customer support ain't spilling. They want you to wait until May 21 for news on the next Xbox, which is code-named Durango.

Still, we thought this transcript between customer support representative Kris and Kotaku reader Curry was entertaining enough to be worth sharing. Don't read into Kris's answers too much: the memo could still exist, even if he or she hasn't seen it. But enjoy the conversation nonetheless.

Here's the transcript, completely unaltered:

You are now chatting with 'Kris'.

Kris: Hi Curry

Curry: Durango [the codename for the next Xbox] is designed to deliver the future of entertainment while engineered to be tolerant of today's Internet." It continues, "There are a number of scenarios that our users expect to work without an Internet connection, and those should 'just work' regardless of their current connection status. Those include, but are not limited to: playing a Blu-ray disc, watching live TV, and yes playing a single player game
