People hacking video game companies, that I get. But really, messing with a video game news outlet? That's a bit much.
Last Friday, moderators on the PC Gamer forums noticed some "suspicious activity". Turns out a script had somehow been hidden in a forum post that had been designed to steal a user's profile information when it was clicked on, possibly revealing stuff like passwords and dates of birth.
The mag/site's IT team has locked down the forums, and say no other details were lost.

I would hope those responsible have since found something better to do with their time.
