The struggle between madness and sanity continues in DC Universe Online, with Mark Hamill voicing the Joker and Kevin Conroy reprising his role as Batman, headlining an all-star cast that includes Adam Baldwin and Gina Torres of Firefly fame.
Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy are the Joker and Batman for an entire generation, and their fight spills over into DC Universe Online.
Conroy, who I had the pleasure of speaking to during last year's Comic-Con, has played Batman so many times he can barely keep count, certainly more than any other actor.
Mark Hamill recently stated that the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum would be his "last hurrah" as the voice of Batman's insane nemesis, which still remains true, as the voice recording for DC Universe Online has already happened.
Joining Hamill and Conroy are Firefly veterans Adam Baldwin and Gina Torres, voicing Superman and Wonder Woman respectively. Baldwin also voiced Supes in the Superman/Doomsday direct-to-DVD animated movie, while Torres voiced Vixen in the Justice League cartoon and Superwoman in this year's Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
Rounding out the cast is Buffy alum James Marsters as Lex Luthor, and Michelle Forbes as Circe. Marsters recently played another DC villain, Brainiac, on Smallville, while Forbes has appeared in True Blood, Battlestar Galactica, and is the voice of Dr. Judith Mossman from Half-Life.
How's that for an all-star cast?
