You just thought the people making Final Fantasy XV sat inside all day in front of computers? They probably do! But sometimes, they go outside and do stuff in the name of FFXV. Adventurous stuff.

The above clip shows the FFXV team as they looked for real-world locations for Final Fantasy XV. Besides being skilled at making games, the FFXV team seems to be good at making food while camping.

Reminds me of the story about getting Big Boss’ rock climbing skills accurate at the start of Ground Zeroes. Supposedly they mocapped real, professional climbers on an exact replica of said wall to do it. I think even kotaku had a piece on it at some point, or maybe they had a piece analyzing rock climbing in games?

I just remember Uncharted 1-3 was voted the worst, most unrealistic ever. I think it said 4 was better, but still pretty damn bad. Expected as much from a Sony studio though, it’s the little things.
