Looks like E3's West Hall had a temporary power outage, which caused this amusing Zelda II-themed “technical difficulties” screen to pop up during the Nintendo Treehouse Live stage show. Nice planning ahead, Nintendo!

Speaking of which, that guy always creeped me the hell out. As a kid I, I always presumed things were intentional in a game, so I thought it was quite enigmatic, surreal, and even mildly horrifying a character would just stand there and say, “I AM ERROR.” Why would this character say that? What am I supposed to learn? Why is the grammar incorrect? “Error” is a word that doesn’t fit in with the setting. Why would a person be an error? *shudder*
