Britthebadger is one of the best cosplayers going around. But even by her lofty standards, this League of Legends Orianna costume is a special piece of work.
The amount of detailing and engineering required to build something this at all, let alone get it in a state where you can wear it (while still looking like the character) is mind-boggling. Yet here it is. Looking astonishing.
We caught a glimpse of it in action at PAX East, but the thing is so good it deserves a second, proper look.
Also worth a look is another of her recent LoL outfits, for Sejuani (complete with Bristle).

Fancy Pants is a look at the world of cosplay (costume play), where people dress up as their favorite video game characters. Sometimes it works! Sometimes it...yeah.

DISCUSSION
Imagine casually going to get the mail, you glance over at your neighbor's yard only to find the neighbor's daughter clad in a leather/fur bikini with strange medieval-esque weaponry and some furry boar-like monstrosity. She locks eyes with you before you can turn away and lets out a fearsome bellow and charges at you, mace a-swinging. You shriek, run inside and lock your door. Your befuddled spouse inquires about the mail, "Fuck the mail.", you respond, "Did you see the goddamn viking inside the neighbor's yard? Screw it, we're moving." You stomp up the stairs muttering about teenagers today and bath salts.
