Korea Is Coming To Civilization VI

One of the new factions coming to Civ VI alongside the big new expansion will be Korea, a welcome return since they were so cool in Civ V.

Queen Seondeok is one of the nine new leaders in the expansion, and as we can probably expect with most of the new guys, has abilities tied to Rise & Fall’s new systems, in this case bonuses for cities that have governors installed.

There’s also a big emphasis on Korea’s unique building, the Seowon, which replaces the campus and will require some careful district placement, since it provides adjacency bonuses for some things (like mines) while losing some of its science yield for every other district built next to it.

Rise & Fall is out in February 2018.
