Kmart Rings In The New Year With Gaming Deals

Illustration for article titled Kmart Rings In The New Year With Gaming Deals

Kmart has discounted games like Goldeneye, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Epic Mickey as part of a sale lasting from now until the end of the year. For those of you not counting, that's five days from now.

If you got a Visa gift card for Christmas and find yourself on the wrong side of town between now and January 1, you might consider stopping by the local Kmart to take advantage of the chain's year end gaming deals. The bargains are particularly attractive to Wii owners, who can pick up Epic Mickey, Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Call of Duty: Black Ops at discounted prices while supplies last.

The Xbox 360 and PlayStation lineup is a bit less impressive, but the Sly Cooper Collection at $19.99 is nothing to sneeze at. Plus they've got five different Kinect games on sale, and only 40 percent of them are exercise titles!

I'm going to be honest here. I've never had a good experience at kmart when it comes to games. They'll have them all locked in a shelf (to be expected), yet have NO price tags on anything. They'll occasionally put one of their little "Hot buys" stickers for a game, and even then, I've ran into inaccuracies in those. Not to mention at my store, they placed Resident Evil 5 on the shelf a week early (system prevented sale when I pressed them)
