A.N.JELL isn’t a real band, sadly. This song, on the other hand, is very real.

Still is actually part of the soundtrack for You’re Beautiful, a Korean television drama from 2009. The central conceit revolved around the protagonist, Park Shin Hye, as a victim of a gender switcheroo and accidentally finding herself as part of a uber-popular idol group starring Jang Geun Suk, Lee Hong Ki and Jung Yong Hwa.

As K-dramas often are, it can be a bit silly at times, and filled with the most annoying tropes in the world (yes, there is a love triangle). But I’ll be damned if it didn’t have great music.

Considering that two of the lead actors are actually singers by trade (Lee Hong Ki from FT Island and Jung Yong Hwa fron CNBLUE), this drama’s above-average soundtrack shouldn’t come as a shock. You should also listen to Without Words and Promise from this album, and probably skip watching the drama itself (it hasn’t aged well at all).
