Big Japanese cities are striking, especially in 8K.

Via Japanese website Curazy, this clip of Tokyo and Yokohama night aerials was shot on a RED Monstro VV 8K camera with Carl Zeiss Milvus 35mm lens.

People say they can’t see the difference between 1080p and 4k but I find that hard to believe. 8k? The difference would probably be even more noticeable. 4k itself has such enhanced detail that I find myself noticing even the smallest things to the way people’s eyes look to the texture of cloth, steel and glass. The dirt on the ground to the way water ripples. Throw in hdr and dolby vision and its even more amazing. 8k is just going to be even better.
