Harmonix and MTV Games have revealed retailer-specific preorder bonuses for Rock Band 3, with GameStop customers scoring three free tunes when the game launches October 26, including New Order's techno anthem "Blue Monday." It's no "True Faith," but it'll do.
With the addition of keyboards, Rock Band 3 opens players up to a whole new variety of music. Not only will we be able to comfortably play more tracks from Van Halen's 1984 album (might as well jump, after all), we'll get songs like the three special tunes GameStop customers score for preordering the game - New Order's "Blue Monday," "Burning Down the House" by Talking Heads, and Deftones' "My Own Summer."
Meanwhile, over at Amazon, preorder customers for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or Wii will get a special in-game guitar, while PS3 and 360 owners also score a bonus $10 credit toward their next game purchase.
Walmart customers get a lousy $10 eGift card.
