In a new interview, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima says the aim is to sell 20 million Switch machines in the next financial year, offer more robust DLC so people can play games longer and put out new Switch titles with new ways to play.

I will personally consider the Switch a disappointment until we see a Smash title on it. Fans have been asking for melee HD or a port of Smash 4, which shouldn’t be terribly difficult to do. It’s why my Wii U is used more than the Switch.

It’s a shame that they seem to not want to realize what a fervor that series still carries. If this was on Sony’s or Microsoft’s shoulders, we would have already seen a “Smash collection” with remastered versions of all of them on one disc.
