Molleindustria's anti-smartphone game Phone Story caused quite a stir yesterday when it was pulled from the Apple app store. The game, which presented a dark look at the costs of smartphone production, was only playable by the few who managed to snag a copy during the few hours that it was on the store. Though we did manage to find a video of it in action.

Molleindustria has now released the game on the (far less strictly regulated) Android Market, where it can be purchased for $1.00. (Its content rating is listed as "Medium Maturity.") While the store depicted in the game is clearly meant to be an Apple store, in truth, Phone Story is as much an indictment of the Android as it is the iPhone. But if you'd like to see it for yourself, you can only do so on a Droid.
