Here's The PlayStation Plus Lineup For April

April’s PlayStation Plus lineup features a launch game, Drawn to Death, as well some older games you might have missed. Co-op Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a lot of fun if you enjoy yelling at your friends under the guise of teamwork.

Remember, these games are only “free” if you have an active PlayStation Plus membership.

Here’s April’s lineup:

PlayStation 4

  • Drawn to Death
  • Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

PlayStation 3

  • Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom
  • Alien Rage—Extended Edition

PlayStation Vita (crossbuy with PS4)

  • 10 Second Ninja
  • Curses ‘n Chaos

Two thoughts.

First, basically these are free games. At this point, if you do any online gaming on PS4 you are required to have a membership. It’s nice that Sony includes these games.

On the other end though, I get frustrated that most months feel like crap games. Neither of these interest me at all, and it’s been that way for a long while. The last free game I got absolutely into was way back with Rocket League. The rest of I have tried, but they haven’t held my interest. With the vast library of the PS4, PS Vita, and PS3, is it still not economically workable for Sony to release a better, if older title that isn’t a new indie release for free? I know they gave out Little Big Planet 3, could we get more titles like that, or is it just not worth the hassle for them to?
