PAX-goers will be the first in North America to get their hands on Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, Nintendo said today in an announcement of its activities at the expo less than 10 days away.
Nintendo's presence at PAX will include a dedicated Pokémon Gaming Lounge, located on the second floor of the Washington State Convention Center. A demo version of the game and swag may be found inside.
Additionally, fans looking forward to The Wonderful 101 on Wii U should know that Hideki Kamiya, the game's creator, will headline a special panel held on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel's Pegasus Theater. The panel begins at 5 p.m.
Nintendo's booth at the expo is No. 462; the publisher says it'll debut the lineup of upcoming digital games for the Wii U and 3DS eShops, including Shovel Knight, Armillo, Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut and a World of Keflings (Wii U) and Retro City Rampage and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (3DS).
Kotaku will be attending PAX this year and providing full coverage through the weekend, so if you see us, say hello. I'll be the guy wearing a black old-style baseball cap with the green Kotaku K on it. And a beard. I have a beard. Evan will be wearing pink pants, most likely.
