To redeem your PSN codes now, simply redeem under the Account Management tab of the XMB, instead of from inside the Playstation Store.
Kotaku recently let you know that Sony has disabled certain Playstation Network features, among them PSN code redemption, in an effort to stabilize everything in the wake of Black Friday purchases and the European launch of the Playstation 4. This is a real bummer if you followed our Black Friday coverage, because would you would have had to be crazy not to take advantage of this year of Playstation Plus for $30 deal.
Twitter user @_alpha_bravo responded to my lamentations about the issue with a simple solution. Rather than trying to redeem your code in the Playstation Store, redeem under the "Account Management" tab on the XMB. I just did this with 4 different codes without issue.
