Capcom is teaming up with Tencent Games for Monster Hunter Online, which is aimed at the Chinese market. What's kind of surprising is that the game runs on the CryEngine 3. Have a look above at the game's trailer.

Okay it's official guys, Capcom has gone bonkers.

First, they choose the two probably least profitable platforms to host a Monster Hunter game in Japan only, online only. A game founded on local multiplayer in a place where that play style rules all, and they ignored that entirely in favor of systems and online play which would suit America far better, and they never make it available in America.

Now, they make a gorgeous MH built on Cry Engine 3 online only... and lookie there, it's for China only.

What?

I mean seriously, WHAT?
