Google’s new Pixel Buds Pro 2 deliver top-notch noise cancellation, great sound quality, and the ability to use the Gemini assistant right in the buds, all in a compact, cozy design. The Tensor A1 processor powers Silent Seal 2.0 active noise cancellation, or ANC, in the Pixel Buds Pro 2. This type of ANC adapts to your ears and surroundings, then tries to remove as much unwanted sound as possible. You can listen for about 8 hours with Silent Seal 2.0 active noise cancellation, and you can extend that by up to 22 additional hours with the included charging case.
Wireless earbuds with adaptive noise canceling and hands-free Gemini
Pixel Buds Pro 2 are for you if you often find yourself on long commutes or international travel, or if you have an Android smartphone and want high-quality wireless earbuds. You receive the Tensor A1 processor, Silent Seal 2.0 active noise cancellation, Conversation Detection, Clear Calling, spatial audio with head tracking, multipoint Bluetooth connection support, an IP54 dust and liquid protection rating on each bud, a Qi-compatible charging case, and hands-free access to Google’s Gemini.
Silent Seal 2.0 active noise cancellation technology works in real time to block unwanted background noise from vehicles on the street and airplanes overhead, while Transparency mode lets you hear what’s going on around you if needed. Conversation Detection pauses your music and automatically switches over into Transparency mode whenever you begin speaking with someone.
Pixel Buds Pro 2 deliver high-quality, balanced, clear audio, and include spatial audio with head tracking to create a sense of immersion when you’re watching movies and TV shows. You can also customize the EQ settings in the Pixel Buds app to suit your preferences, whether you want more bass when working out or a flat response when listening to podcasts.
Gemini lets you get help quickly without reaching for your smartphone. You can simply speak commands, such as asking questions, setting reminders, or getting directions. Clear Calling helps reduce background noise on the other end of your calls, so you can hear others more clearly, and the earbud mics are designed to let your voice come through clearly.
Battery life for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 lasts up to 8 hours with Silent Seal 2.0 active noise cancellation enabled and up to 12 hours with it disabled. With the charging case, you can extend that time to up to 30 hours and up to 48 hours, respectively. The charging case supports both USB-C wired charging and Qi wireless charging. The earbuds have an IP54 rating for dust and liquid resistance, and the charging case has an IPX4 rating, so you can use them in rainy conditions and while exercising. You can also connect two devices at once thanks to multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, making it easier than ever to switch between your phone and your computer.
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer exceptional noise cancellation, long battery life, and advanced Gemini features, all in a very portable form factor. They’re available in four colors: Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen, and Peony.
