This morning, Sony quietly added two-step verification to the PlayStation Network, allowing users to add an extra layer of security to their PS4, PS3, and Vita accounts. Finally.

NOW GO DO IT. You can find the option by going to Settings -> PlayStation Network Account Management -> Account Information -> Security -> 2-Step Verification. It looks like the screen up top.

Sony’s service is notorious for security breaches, and in recent months we’ve been hearing a lot about hackers getting into PSN accounts and making unauthorized charges. There is no reason not to have two-step verification on your account (and really, all of your important internet IDs). Especially if your password is something easy to guess, like harambelives.
