Bill Murray and I have something in common. We're both excited about Ghostbusters. I may be more enthusiastic about the orphaned video game — which may have found a home at Atari — but Murray's role in that game seems to have lead to helping spark excitement for a third Ghostbusters movie. According to an Ain't It Cool News post, Murray told the audience at a recent screening of City of Ember at Fantastic Fest that "We did the video game this summer and it was fun to do it again," saying that a script from The Office scribes and his fondness for the characters could lead to another film. The game, developed by Terminal Reality, has been planned as a sequel to the first two films and features most of the film's original actors. Let's just hope that if Ghostbusters III comes to fruition, pink slime will be considered "out of canon." Bill Murray commented on GHOSTBUSTERS 3 tonight at Fantastic Fest! [AICN via MTV Multiplayer]
