Get Excited To Kill North Koreans With Homefront's New 'Resistance' Trailer

Homefront's version of the "second American Revolution" will pit U.S. citizen against North Korean invader, restoring freedom to our nation's White Castles, Hooters and gas stations with a feel-good bloodbath.

Kaos Studios' take on a North American invasion is looking pretty damn good, full of grim violence and spectacular destruction. It's due for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on March 15, courtesy of THQ. See if Homefront looks like your cup of military first-person shooter tea in this new trailer.

I've always wondered how the people from these countries or regions feel about these fictional wars and actual historical wars as well. Have a lot of German gamers played the original Medal of Honor and Call of Duty games? Video games are huge in Japan, was Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault sold there? What about all these games about North Korean antagonists, how do South Koreans feel about that? I know my fiance always complains about how Russians are the bad guys and she of Russian heritage.

I actually just finished Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts (yeah, I know it's old but I bought it during the steam holiday sales). I thought the German storyline was great. It really humanized what most people think of evil nazis in WWII video games.
