Announced yesterday, the PSP-3000 will be the third major iteration of Sony's PlayStation Portable line. So let's take a good look at it! Below are galleries showing the two colours that'll be available in North America: Piano Black and Mystic Silver. As you can see in the pic above, there's a third colour - Pearl White - but that one's only for Europe and Japan. For now, anyways.
This 'New PSP' every year thing is not going to cut it Sony. I know piracy is fucking your software attachment rate in the ass and developers are running to the DS because even though it has a piracy issue as well, there's enough DS's in the wild to largely nullify the assload of people stealing things. Dark Alexx and crew are simply going to undo all the steps you've taken within a week of this hitting the stores and anyone who doesn't want to wait will simply go find a phat or early model Slim.
There's no reason that the features offered in the 3000 weren't in the 2000. If the piracy issue is that bad Sony, cut your losses and get to work on the PSP2, which you need to do anyway. You want to stick to UMD, fine, all the better for BC, but you need to deal with this sooner instead of crowing about your 'ten year plan' because if Nintendo gets the jump on you again and Microsoft finally trots out it's handheld, hind tit is what you'll be sucking. Again.
