Summary
Rotor City is a single-player helicopter game with a mission-based career. Starting with a bubble-canopy trainer and a timber hangar, the player builds up a helicopter operator with 14 fictional helicopters across five living cities: a seaside town, a river-mouth port, a mountain valley with a ski resort, a tropical island chain and a skyscraper metropolis. Jobs include firefighting with an underslung bucket, air ambulance flights, hoist rescues, police pursuits, air taxi and tour flights, offshore crew changes, heli-skiing and cargo sling loads. Every flight starts with a cold engine, fuel can only be refilled at headquarters, and earnings pay for new helicopters, hangars and heavier landing pads. It has day and night, weather, and keyboard or controller support.
