All the Latest Game Footage and Images from Dawngate
Dawngate was meant to be EA's foray into the MOBA eSports scene. However after 18 months of beta it was announced that due to lack of sufficient returns and disappointing results, the servers would close down and support to the game would stop. The game was team-oriented where a group of five players (shapers) work together to complete objectives and destroy the enemy guardian. Destroying the guardian would win the game for the team. Players controlled hero characters named Shapers. Shapers could have their stats modified by players by choosing spells and items, and had the ability to access wards that could be placed to provide vision to areas of the map for their team. It was to be Free to Play and supported by micro transaction, like its competitors.
