Summary
Check-In Anomaly is a first-person psychological horror game in which the player works the night shift at a hotel. The core activity is watching security camera feeds to detect anomalies: objects out of place, doors that move on their own, figures that should not be there and other changes to the environment. Each anomaly must be identified and reported following the hotel’s protocol; wrong reports and ignored threats can end the shift early. Some events require leaving the camera room to patrol the hallways, talk to the guests or restore power after a blackout. The game has a low-poly visual style inspired by PlayStation-era graphics.
