This spring, a Layton’s Mystery Journey anime series debuts in Japan and follows the adventures of Professor Layton’s daughter, Katrielle Layton.
As you’d expect, the animation looks terrific.
Layton’s Mystery Journey begins broadcasting on April 8 on Fuji TV.
Kotaku East is your slice of Asian internet culture, bringing you the latest talking points from Japan, Korea, China and beyond. Tune in every morning from 4am to 8am.
DISCUSSION
Hopefully this series might not only answer the question ‘Where’s your father?’ but also ‘How’s your mother?’
Seriously though, I’ve never been a fan of the Single Parent plot device that keeps getting used too much.
