We've seen it before of course, back when it didn't have a name, but Sony has never actually released official press shots of the device until now, giving us such a close look at both the main wand and its "nunchuk" accessory.

The Move will be released this Fall, in three options: individually, bundled with a PlayStation Eye camera or bundled with the camera and a PlayStation 3 console.

Say what you will about its similarities to the Wii, I like it because it makes me think of Greensleeves and ice cream.

UPDATE - Post updated with plenty more pics, including shots of the sides and rear of both the Move and the Subcontroller

DS released. Makes shit load of money for Nintendo. Other companies see this, release their own versions with better graphics, more capabilities. Make some money.

Wii released. Nintendo decides graphics aren't everything. Makes shit load of money for Nintendo. Other companies see this, and having invested so much in improving graphics, decide "shit, why not?" and release their own "versions" of Wii.

Rinse and Repeat.

Although I'm not a Nintendo fan boy, I am looking at this with a Nintendo focus, because Nintendo is the one that comes up with shit. I'm also not a fan of video games making you "waggle, move, or motion-control". To me, that shit's played out. But can people come up with their own ideas? Xbox live avatars? Natal? Move? This is the next gen?

The next gen are copy-cats. And the next gen is a shit load of shit.
