Explore the Dusty Pages of the Ultimate Tome of Diablo Lore

Hello my friends! Stay awhile and listen...err, watch as I explore Diablo III: Book of Cain, 147 pages of illustrations, excerpts, and firsthand accounts of the history of the world of Sanctuary, coming soon to a bookseller near you.

As the last of the Horadrim mages, an ancient brotherhood formed by the Archangel Tyrael to battle Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, Deckard Cain is the man most qualified to deliver a comprehensive look at the world of Sanctuary and it's lengthy struggle with the forces of evil. So Blizzard tapped famed TSR, Transformers, and video game writer Flint Dille and friends to give voice to Cain's wisdom, collecting it in one sinister volume due out December 13 January 10.

Enough talk, friends. Now is a time for action, if turning pages and talking counts as such. Let's look inside the Book of Cain.

Like what you see? Diablo III: The Book of Cain is currently available for preorder at Amazon and other fine online book purveyors, just in time to introduce some much-needed evil to this festive time of year.

That is pretty bloody fantastic. Gorgeous illustrations. Altogether it looks like the perfect presentation to get folks caught up with the History of Sanctuary while providing another layer of immersion. What burns me is that, had the Book Store company I worked for not gone Tits up, I could have borrowed the book to read through it. Don't get me wrong, it appears more then worth the asking price, but, well, even when I was employed to said company before the fall my coin was rather tied up. Still, I find myself very much wanting this book. I'm rather envious of anyone who's able to purchase it. Yet another reason to be excited for Diablo III.
