"I don't need another military space marine game." Whoa. Okay.
In an interview with IGN, big boss of Xbox, said that while the company was committed to its core first party franchises Microsoft is also working on something new. "I think new stories, new characters give us a new canvas to try new things… I want to continue to invest in things that push the boundaries. I don't need another military space marine game. I don't probably need another racing game."
Given that the Xbox brand was essentially founded on Halo and Gears of War, I gotta say this a little surprising, but at this point we could all use something a bit different. Hopefully it turns out to be more than just marketing speak.
