If Dragon Quest Heroes does one thing right, it's making all your favorite Dragon Quest characters look incredibly badass.

Like in all Dynasty Warriors-style games, the playable characters in Dragon Quest Heroes each have a unique special attack made to show off just how cool they really are. To see a compilation of these special attacks in action, check out the video above.

Dragon Quest Heroes was released in Japan on February 26, 2015, for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It is scheduled for a Western release sometime later this year only on the PlayStation 4.

Got my import copy on Friday, the game is absolutely killer. Much like Hyrule Warriors, you can tell they respect the source material and have taken careful steps to capture the DW vibe. Every tiny sound effect is ripped right from the DW worlds and the music is terrific. Combat is satisfying and the animations are all great. Really nice effort.
