Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company 1+2

While Battlefield’s been around since 2002, it really wasn’t until the release of 2008’s Bad Company, Battlefield 1943 in 2009, and 2010’s Bad Company 2 that the series was propelled into stardom. All three games shaped Battlefield into what it is today, what with the squad-based combat and heavily destructible environments, but now, all three games have been removed from digital storefronts as of April 28. EA said that this is in preparation for discontinuing the online servers, which will get turned off on December 8. You can still play the single-player campaigns of either game if you own them, but otherwise, these legacy games have been retired
